Updates on WNA Easter Egg Hunt Status, Saturday, April 20, 2019 starting at 2 pm. Woodlawn PTA has the flyer, will be circulating, has also sent an e-mail blast. What else needs doing and by when?

Updates on Woodlawn “Community Collection Event” aka the Neighborhood Cleanup. Saturday, May 25, 2019 9 am to 2 pm at Henry V. Announcements already sent to NECN newsletter, Hollywood Star & Concordia News calendars. —Shelley & Francisco.

Summer 2019 Park Tree Inventory seeking Neighborhood Organizers for Woodlawn Park. Attend workday event(s), help to recruit neighbors to volunteer as Data Collectors or Arborists-On-Call, & attend Team Leader Training in early June to become more familiar with inventory protocol for parks. Woodlawn MIC Status — Methodist Church selling it. Potential purchasers: current congregation, Head Start there for many years, maybe Heart of Wisdom Zen Center (updates from Ross Daniels via Anjala in an e-mail)

Congratulations to Woodlawn Farmer’s Market for their 2019 NECN grant award. It will help fund programming for kids at this year’s market.

“Neighborhood Associations Rock” — July art exhibit at Elisabeth Jones Art Center in NW PDX. Local artists will be painting images of successful achievements by an NA. Contacting all city NAs to gather information about particular places or projects that exist because of NA work.
